Mercerdale is a grid-like neighborhood located just north of Mercerdale Park, to the west of Island Crest Way, and south of SE 40th St. This neighborhood is favored by community members for its proximity to Mercer Island’s green spaces, Town Center, and Mercer Island Farmers Market.
Mercerdale Park is the most popular local park where many Mercer Island annual events are held, including Mostly Music in the Park, Summer Celebration, and the Holiday Tree Lighting and Fireside Munch. Mercer Island Youth & Family Services Thrift Store is located in this park, which may also be the future location of the Mercer Island Center for the Arts. The Mercer Island Farmers Market takes place every Sunday during the summer along the streets that line Mercerdale Park.
